Mayank and Rohan Wankhede are brothers bound not just by blood but by a pact made many years ago, to build something bigger than themselves; something that stands the test of time.

Mayank’s journey is one of quiet persistence and restless curiosity. Having spent years in Canada, managing teams and operations in the demanding world of hospitality, he learned what it means to earn trust, to lead from the front, and to find beauty in discipline. He believes every good thing takes root in honest work and patient nurturing. Moving back to India wasn’t just about taking up a new challenge, rather, a hunger to plant new seeds in his own soil.

Rohan has always been the soul of music and movement. Where Mayank brings structure, Rohan brings flow. A self-taught musician with a heart for storytelling through rhythm. His vision for TaLe won’t be stopped at trade ventures but as a creative ground where art, ideas and people come together. His ambition for TaLe is to be remembered for the stories it curates and the moments it makes possible.

From Roots to Roasts

Together, we are building TaLe, an umbrella for every 3am brain child: coffee that respects farmers while enabling caffeine devotees; restaurants that become homes for conversations and family dramas; events that amplify art and culture, and music that makes people turn up far beyond borders.

Our TaLe begins with coffee. We are determined to be more than a merchant trader or an exporter. We are here to build trust one container at a time, one cup at a time and eventually one experience at a time. We believe in fair trade, transparent sourcing, and giving everyone: farmers, buyers and customers a reason to stay loyal not just to a product but to a bigger purpose.

We are starting small, like a couple of BROkies, and more dreams than resources. But that has never stopped us. We stand by each other, covering for each other’s gaps, pushing each other to dream bigger while hustling in honest work. We see TaLe as a living testament to our bond as brothers, partners, and co-creators of a legacy that will someday outlive us.

Our story is still being written; every meeting, every shipment, every event is another page. And in time, we hope that TaLe will mean something deeply personal to everyone it touches: a promise that if you dare to dream, build, and trust, you can leave behind your own tale worth telling.
