Robusta
A bold and resilient variety, Robusta is known for its intense flavor, full body, and rich crema. With higher caffeine content and deep chocolate-nut undertones, it is the backbone of many espresso blends and a favorite for those who enjoy a strong, energizing cup.
- Typical Flavor Profile: Strong, bold, earthy, and more bitter.
- Notes: Woody, nutty, sometimes smoky or chocolatey.
- Body: Full-bodied, heavier crema if used for espresso blends. Higher caffeine content gives it a sharper bite.
